Out Loud Live was a multi-media art project consisting of live performances by six renowned poets, accompanied by a dynamic jazz quintet lead by Tommy Banks and later staged through a live 2-hour webcast performance. The project's legacy, generously supported by the Canada Council's Millennium Arts Fund, now lives as a documentary website. Out Loud Live was initiated as part of the PanCanadian WordFest: Banff-Calgary International Writers Festival 2000. The 2-hour live webcast was streamed from the Telus Studio of The Banff Centre on October 15, 2000. We hope you will enjoy viewing this unique experience.
