About Us

WordFest™ stimulates literacy by bringing readers of all ages together with writers of local, national and international stature. An annual readers and writers Festival; WordFest features a broad range of events which enhance the interests of the communities it serves. The Festival is complemented by supplementary events throughout the year. WordFest is further committed to an extensive youth engagement program, Book Rapport, as well as a francophone and francophile programme, Festival des Mots. In addition  to various community outreach activities.
