Kirk Miles (CAN) is a poet, playwright and performing clown. He is a founding member of One Yellow Rabbit Performance Theatre and the recipient of the Alberta Screenwriters Award for his screenplay, Shadow Maker. His latest work is a book of poetry, of ash of brick of water, consisting of 16 stories about his experiences as a performing clown named Hamlet. Miles performs most of his poems with his band, midnight yoga for alcoholics, with blues guitarist Cennth Sinclair. In 2007, the Bravo! network produced a segment on his life as a poet, playwright and clown.
