JonArno Lawson
JonArno Lawson (CAN) is the author of several books of poetry for children and adults and is a two-time winner of the Lion and the Unicorn Award for Excellence in North American Poetry. When studying to teach English as a second language, he started to keep a notebook full of phrases and words he liked. From these notebooks, letters to his grandmother, and other odd scraps he’d kept over the years, he began his first book of poetry. His latest book Think Again explores the experiences of first love. Lawson lives in Toronto, ON, with his wife and three children. WordFest alumnus 2008
