Writers become performers as they push the limits of the spoken and written word in innovative and creative ways.

Ophira Eisenberg is a stand-up comic, writer, and host of NPR’s weekly trivia show, Ask Me Another. Eisenberg has been featured in numerous anthologies but now presents her own book, Screw Everyone: Sleeping my Way to Monogamy.

Alison Wearing is an Ontario native whose career includes writing, dancing, and starring in her own award-winning one-woman plays. Wearing earned international recognition for her first book Honeymoon in Purdah and now introduces her memoir, Confessions of a Fairy’s Daughter.

Sara Tilley is a writer, theatre artist and Pochinko Clown teacher and performer from St. John’s, Newfoundland. She founded the feminist theatre company She Said Yes! in 2002, and has written, co-written or co-created eleven plays to date. Her first novel is Skin Room.
