Join WordFest for an evening with Jeannette Walls featuring a live interview with host Shelley Youngblut. Walls will read from her latest novel, and books by the author will be available for purchase along with an opportunity to have her work signed after the event.

Jeannette Walls was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and grew up in Welch, West Virginia. She graduated from Barnard College and was a journalist in New York City for 20 years. Her memoir, The Glass Castle, has been a New York Times bestseller for more than five years. She is also the author of Half Broke Horses. Walls lives in rural Virginia with her husband, the writer John Taylor.
