MacLean named Anne Green Award recipient
(August 29, 2012 – Calgary, AB) WordFest has announced Kath MacLean as the 2012 Anne Green Award recipient. The annual award is given to an artist whose work explores and challenges the traditional form of story and narrative. This is the inaugural year for the award that commemorates the contribution and vision of founding WordFest Director Anne Green.
Kath MacLean is an award-winning poet, prose and non-fiction writer whose works have been published across Canada, the United States and in Europe. Her poetry collections include For a Cappuccino on Bloor, the recipient of the New Muse Award, and Kat Among the Tigers.
