Lorna Crozier (CAN) is a poet and essayist who was inducted as an Officer of the Order of Canada for her significant contributions to Canada’s literature. She is a Professor in the Department of Writing at the University of Victoria. Her poetry collections, as well as her memoir Small Beneath the Sky, have received many honours, including the Governor General’s Literary Award for Poetry and first prize in CBC’s Literary Competition. Crozier examines the mystery of everyday objects in her series of playful and startling prose meditations The Book of Marvels.
