Suzette Mayr (CAN) is a Calgary-based novelist. She was the former Canadian Writer-in-Residence at the University of Calgary and the former president of The Writers Guild of Alberta. Her book The Widows was a finalist for the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize for Best Book in the Canada-Caribbean region.
