Wayne Johnston (CAN) grew up in Newfoundland where he worked as a journalist for the St. John’s Daily News. After leaving his career in journalism, he devoted himself full-time to writing novels or books. His novel Baltimore’s Mansion was tremendously well received and won The Charles Taylor Prize for Literary Non-Fiction. Both The Colony of Unrequited Dreams and The Navigator of New York have spent extended periods of time on bestseller lists in Canada.
