Helen Humphreys (CAN) is the author of several books of poetry, novels and one work of creative non-fiction. Her creative non-fiction, The Frozen Thames, was a number one national bestseller. Her first novel, Leaving Earth, won the City of Toronto Book Award. Her second novel, Afterimage, won the Rogers Writers’ Trust Fiction Prize and was nominated for the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize.
