Biography

Jacqueline Guest (CAN) is a Métis writer who lives in Alberta’s Rocky Mountain foothills. An award-winning author of 16 novels, her fast-paced stories cover topics from deadly video games to helpful ghosts. She has been nominated for the Esquao Award and a National Aboriginal Achievement Award. Jacqueline gives presentations and performances in schools and libraries throughout Canada and has been the Marigold Library System’s writer-in-residence. Her new book, Ghost Messages, follows 13-year-old Ailish as she becomes trapped on the mighty Great Eastern steam ship as it sets off to lay the first transatlantic communications cable to Newfoundland.
